I have completed my temporary plane till and made some temporary tool holders. I am planning to build a traditional hanging tool cabinet (by Mike Pekovich @ FWW) and needed a way to store everything until it is made. This is all part of my venture into the realm of hand tool. I started putting together my collection this past November. The planes are all by Wood River and the chisels are Ashley Iles So far I am really pleased with all of them and can’t wait to really put them (and me) to the test

You’re steps ahead of me! I’m all vintage, all hand tool, but for some reason all my planes still live in a steel drawer….

This is a very efficient tool storage wall. It is obvious that you have put a lot of thought in this wall and it will pay off in many dividends.

That’s a nice collection of tools.

Like you I had to make a hanging tool cabinet just to keep my tools organized.

Haven’t made the tool cabinet yet. I think it will be a great project to learn some new skills. Wants to happen to become needs, if you know what I’m saying.
