Drill bit storage drawer

I finally decided to get my drill bit storage under control. I built three drawers to go under my drill press table, and this is the top drawer. It has sliding/removable trays to hold my standard twist bits and my Brad points. I intend on using the other 2 drawers to store my driver bits and forstner bits.

This is a great organizer for your shop. Nice work!

That is so kewl! I still have most of my drill bits stashed in cigar boxes. Have to root around and go through much frustration every time I am looking for a specific size or type. This should save you the same kind of frustrations. Good Job!

Organization is always a good thing. Nothing like having your stuff laid out so you can quickly see what you need and get it. Then back to the work at hand, not looking all over the shop or through 10 drawers looking for it.

I thought I should update this with the current layout of my drawers. So far this has been a huge timesaver for me, and I wish I had done it sooner. Thanks for all the positive feedback!
