I wanted to express movement and relate the chair to a human form.
The bends are laminates over a form in a vacuum bag.
It is made out of baltic birch and maple.

Really a cool chair and aptly named. I’d love to see more pictures. How does it sit?

There is a floating 1/4” brass pin that is held in place by cherry plugs in the side of the bends

Fantastic design! There is a very fluid flow to the chair that I have not seen before. Thanks for sharing it, I can’t wait to see how you finish it.

That’s a very nice chair Hans. I’d love to see more pictures but I’m afraid I’ll miss it when you post them. If you come back to this project and update the number of pictures, can you post a comment so I’ll get a mail please?

Thanks,

-- Jim

Here are some better photos of it finished. There are some racking problems but it does support me. I’ll beef up the bends a bit and tweak out some of the problems on the next one.
