This is a mother’s day gift I made for my mom this year. I came across Steve's video so I thought I would give it a try and build one. The Jewelry box is made from maple and cherry and I painted the “S” on the medallion with gold paint. I will add a mirror to the underside of the lid later.

ya the sides were real fun lol.. I spent around an hour or more just sanding the curves because my saw left a really bad cut. Most likely I pushed it to fast or something.
