I have just finished our new dove house, before the birds flew around free, but after the goshawks found out they tasted good, my wife pleeded with me to build this house for them, its insulated and (I hope) rat proof!
hope you enjoy, greetings from Denmark

That should keep them safe from the hawks, looks good. We have the same problem here with Guinea Hens and red tailed hawks.

That looks great, nice trees to. I used to have hawks hit my pigeons in midair flight. I would see the hawk dive, a splash of feathers and the pigeon fall to the ground. The few times I was able to get to the downed bird before the hawk landed and carried it off I would find about a 1/2” slit in the pigeons craw. The cut was so clean it looked like it had been done with a scalpel. Good luck with your birds and I hope you will be able to enjoy watching them fly.
