I picked up this rough out from, I think, Mitch Cartledge, about 3 years ago at RWR. He had carved it as a cowboy and also as a hobo, as I remember. My wife is a long-time UCLA basketball fan, so I carved it for her as a basketball player waiting for the rebound. The carving is 8.25 inches tall, basswood, painted in acrylics.
