Yes spring is in the air. Flowers have pushed up from the soil. This is a special flower a hybrid Campbell. They are on a 4 inch high 6 inch wide maple bowl. Turned, burned, carved, milk paint, and India ink .

Beautiful bowl. (I actually have some four-petal orange flowers that bloom in my garden occasionally-a mutation in my Daylilies – they look a lot like the ones on your bowl.) Thanks for sharing.

Nifty how you carved right through the bowl to shape the flowers, something looked different, confirmed by the shadow. Very nicely done and colored.
