I would have to say that this is the nicest tackle box I have seen. Sweet.

You are covering field and stream with these beauties. Wonderful projects. Long gun stock work up next?

Very nice- I have been wanting to make something similar to hold fly tying materials… Guess I should put some of that scrap wood to good use…

Gentlemen-TY for all the kind comments! Dan Walters, it was fun too make as the whole thing was designed around the 6inch leadr keepers stored in each end. I wanted a box that I could store the reels with leadrs on them and they wouldn’t get tangled, everything else just evolved around them. Douglas Bordner, TY I’ve already done the long gun work-lol just didn’t post any pics of the old swedish mauser which I sporterized years ago with a new walnut stock with rosewood grip caps.My fishing and hunting has given way to only fishing and wood working now-lol. ChrisBabayco, Ty and please let me see what you come up with for the fly tying box. mrtrim you’re right when I aint fishing I’m supposed to be making saw dust, and I better get to it!

Beautiful box – custom designed to suit your needs. Isn’t it great to have some woodworking skills?
