Cutting table for sewing fabric for my wife.

Based on the Kreg kitchen island table plan, then modified to add the V-groove in the middle.

Lots of pocket screws.

Used a 1/2” diameter, 90 degree, V-groove cutting bit to get the v-groove. I did buy the legs thou already finished; that’s a whole other project to learn how to do :)

Top is removable to be able to easily move around.

Simple & functioning. It seems I now will be making one for my missus. She has an antique Italian sewing machine from the late 1800’s that was just refreshed to work good as new & with original parts. She has mentioned needing a layout table, I think this will do just fine.

Thank You for the idea mate. Cheers!
