60 Day Fall Build Challenge - Sawdust Chronicles

it has been a while since I have been on here, thought that I would put up my enter to the 60 Day Build Challenge back las fall

Mostly Hand Tools….

Well I signed up for this challenge with the thought to challenge myself as well, so I decided to use all (or mostly hand tools) I keep it to a similar design that I have made before ’ A wine bottle carrier ‘

Basically pictures tell the story, hand tools used, finish used, and wood is pine…nothing expensive used, all most basic shops have these few hand tools (most will have better ones)

Hand Cut Dovetails, all wood used (but dividers) were hand planed with some old stanley’s, all pine was cut to size with hand saws….wine bottle dividers and bottoms were the only parts used with power tools due to some time to get finished in time to enter by deadline

Turned out well and donated to a Local Curling Bonspiel for daughters daycare fundraiser…included a few bottles of my favorite winery in Niagara, ON Canada…. Fielding Estates Winery (www.fieldingwines.com)
