This is a link to the blog I kept of the construction of my sailboat in 2008.

Huge learning experience for me as I had virtually zero woodworking experience when I started.

You built a boat! That’s awesome. It must be very rewarding sailing her around the lake.

Welcome BigMur!!

So you built a boat! That is SWEEEEEEEET! My buddy is in the process now of building one. Last fall I purchased a kayak so you can say that I took the easy way out (hee hee).

Enjoy LumberJocks!

Very cool, I’d love to build my own runabout.

Wow that is really a labor of love, you didn’t quite make it by spring, but at least before winter. Quite an accomplishment, going through the pictures, that is certainly a well made boat and awesome job of craftsmanship.
You have had almost a decade of fun so far, how has it performed for you. would like to hear more of your adventures. Thanks for posting, inspires me to get mine out this spring.
