A friend asked me to build an Easter cross to put in the front window of their local business. They intend to drape some white “burial” cloths over it. They also wanted it “rustic.” I used some unmilled boards (Walnut) and made this. Built a simple stand for it out of a punky (read: “rustic”) cherry board I had laying around. I used some screws to fasten the cross beam, and then plugged the holes with rough square pegs to make it look like it was pegged together. I hope my attempt at rustic turned out. It’s definitely not my forte’.
