I made this in box for my mom’s birthday. Its from woodsmith magazine. There have been a couple other Ljs that have done it. It was a lot more challenging then I thought it would be, but in the end it was a good build. Plus my mom really liked it and it matched her desk quite well.

drawers were made from one piece of crotch walnut. The frame is cherry and the spines are bloodwood.

Nice looking inbox. Now you need to make her an out-box. The bloodwood splines and walnut are a nice combination. I know your mother loves it…Great birthday present..
