Made this a few months ago for my daughter’s birthday. She loves to play chess and I saw this game somewhere on the internet and decided to make it instead of buying it. The object is to get your four pieces in a row. The pieces move the same way they do in regular chess. The box has walnut top and bottom and olive wood for the sides. The playing surface is end grain of the same walnut and olive wood and the pieces I turned. The knights still need some work to truly be finished. The pieces and the board have magnets so the kids can play in the car. All is finished with wipe on ploy.

Here is link to how to play

Looks like a cross between chess and quarto, nicely done.

Hi. My name is Don Green and I’m the inventor and manufacturer of Tic Tac Chec. While I am flattered that you like my game, I’d like to add that Dream Green is a small business, just my wife and I and we are currently facing the prospect of suing a couple of large manufacturers plus Amazon and Ebay for reproducing and allowing the sale of this game. We don’t have the money to hire lawyers especially since people are purchasing the knock off games instead of our own so I”m not sure where that will go. And while we can’t stop any of you from making your own copy, you may want to think about the time, effort and money that went into developing this game (and that video) and consider buying one from us. www.dreamgreen.org Thanks.

Don Green. I will remove this project if you prefer. I will let you I do make this for others or have I never sold one. I have turned down several people that have asked me to make them and referred them to your site as I understand you have the full rights for selling this game.
