Open box, miter joints

A old pallet, goy a tour through the thicknesser, then my new miter key jig, and viola – boxes made easy!
This one is a gift for a friend I have, she love my passion for wood, and she is a artist, so I was thinking it could be for her drawing tools.
I have a feeling this jig is going to me a friend of mine… Thank you guys who inspred me to make one.

Ahhh, yes it’s palisander in the joints.

great recycling and for scrabmateriel it´s a
great little box you made with the first try
on your new fancy black lady of a jiig Mads
I´m sure she will preciate the gift and use
it a lot

That miter key jig does make it easy to key those boxes. it looks real neat with the different color keys

Yes, Gar it’s quite faster than hand cut dowetails… So it might be used a lot. ;-)

Very nice box Mads and your miters look bomb proof too. Those splines came out great, a good way to use recycled quality hardwoods. Keep up the good work!
