i go the wood from my saw mill guy the other day. it came out of a very old Tobacco barn about 2 hrs from me. he was tell me it was maple and the wood is around 108 years old.not fancy wood BUT turn out very good. just though it was pretty cool to turn something that old. this is the same board the call came from…thanks brian -- www.brianwattscustomcalls.com

Sweet that guy has been hooking you up son. I also seen that load of walnut(jealous). You need to start turning some bowls. You would love the segmented stuff. Have fun sling some chips
