A1Jim suggested I do a blog about how I did the dovetails on my Spalted Mango Box. Here’s the finished box I made while writing that blog. It’s made from Canary Wood with Jarrah for the corners and handle. Finish is shelac and wax. Size is 4”x6”x10”.

Excellent looking box Don. I agree, the dovetails look great and add a very nice touch.

Fantastic box. Good clean lines. I like the use of the Jarrah for the handle and corners. Good contrast for that beautiful Canary Wood.

Keep it up.

Great job on this box. I agree, the dovetails make it shine.

-- Donnie-- listen to the wood.
