Tommy you should be very pleases with that box. It’s absolutely beautiful. The joinery, curves and wood are wonderful. Is that zebrawood? The purpleheart is obvious. Just a wonderfully executed design.

Wow. All of the above, but add some wows to it. Very nice. This might be your first project HERE, but that’s some serious skill and experience going on there. :-)

First timer, oh sure I belive that, very well done.
There must have been some difficulty cutting straight lines with that strong grain.

Well done. Excellent execution. Like the curves on the sides. Choice of woods is interesting. Thanks for sharing. Jim.

Wow! You did a nice job on this, especially for it being your first. You really reached into yourself to find your creative spirit. You did well; I see a lot of nice details and hidden talent. Keep up the good work and learn all you can and may you always be happy in your work.

Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.

There were mistakes and frustration along the way particularly with the joinery and i was able to cover the gaps in the joints with small fill pieces.

Many years ago I did some carpentry work but mainly framing and the like but this is a whole new experience for me.
