Love making these cutting boards but I get covered in saw dust and trying to keep them flat is a pain. My wife felt sorry for me and bought me a Fox 16/32 Drum Sander. I can’t wait to get it:)

Score dude! Your wife is an angel 8^)

I can’t imagine making cutting boards without a DS, too much work! You are well on your way to an unending obsession, have fun (and nice work)!

Nice designs. Drum sander will help a lot.

Any number of cutting boards greater than 2, is way too much work without a drum sander. Beautiful work, they just get more fun.

Lucky man. These look like long grain cutting boards so you could pass them through your planer for flattening.

A drum sander never hurts though.

Nice new tools are always fun. I just ran 5 of them through my Delta drum sander this morning. Cheers

I have been using my Planer but the Purple Heart grain has a tendency to rip.
