My second Hemlock Burl. 11” X 3”. Fruit bowl with Salad Bowl Finish.

Nice bowl, John. I like the bottom detail with the raised edge!!

We have allot of hemlock in this area, but I have never seen a burl. Nicely done.

Nice, has a little heavier look, clean sharp edge. Was in town last week but Ma kept me busy so no time to visit!

Thanks fellows, hard to believe that Hemlock Burls were chipped up as scrap. The friend that gave me this one said nobody wanted them, but since seeing my bowls he is looking at them differently now.
