Another A-Frame clamp cart, with a nod to Norm for inspiration. 6 ft tall. 2×4 construction with pocket joinery. The cant angle is 7 deg which is about perfect. Clamps hang on 1 in poplar dowels. Base is a furniture dolly from Harbor Freight $9.99. Can’t buy 3 in casters this cheap. Hardest part was playing Tetris with all the clamps. I got them all on there though. My basement shop has no wall space to hang anything. In retrospect, this unit has a lot of weight on it and could probably use bigger casters. Maybe I will upgrade them after all. Cheap Charlie here cant’s spend $20 to hold up $700 worth of clamps! LOL

A very fine rack and a nice assortment of clamps!

ThNks Tony. I went on a clamp collecting binge this year and this project was sorely needed. In January Rockler had a set of four Irwin parallel on sale for $119 and i picked up two sets (4×48” and 4×24”) then they got back ordered for three months and just showed up about a week ago. Previously they were all piled up in the corner. The Irwin clamps work pretty well but in case you were wondering theBesseys are better. The only complaint is the irwin clamps have a shallow thread pitch so you wind up cranking them a little more. If i buy one more clamp it will not fit on this rack so i guess i am done.

From the looks of all those nice clamps I would think you have what it takes to get any job done! To me it’s like a dream come true! You out clamp me by many clamps! LOL!

I agree with Pottz that your clamp rack is better than hanging them on the wall. If I had a little more floor space I would build one just like it!

This very nice clamp rack will add a lot of versatility to your shop. You did a nice job on this.
