Okay, here is the walnut bed I made for the loml to match the wardrobe I finished in March. It’s too shiny right now but she wanted that. I will rub it down a little after the poly cures. While I was at it I made the bed rails frame and panel and dovetailed the slats in with giant dovetails. She likes, and that is what counts. Now off to the two nightstands, and I am done. I am calling the style arts and crafts, but not sure about that. Thanks for looking

A really nice piece here! I’ll be waiting to see the matuching nightstands.

You even used walnut on the slats, and dovetailed them too, nice touch.

What did you all do for the finish besides poly?

Again, really nice job here!

Good idea using dovetails so the slats don’t move on you or fall out when you put the mattress in. Good workmanship as well congratulations on the design your right its not really Arts &Crafts I would say closer to Shaker?

I love the style and the color. Walnut has such amazing depth and shade! Great job on that bed, outstanding craftsmanship!
