I posted my first successful attempt at making this type of board a while back ( I never posted any of the follow-ups though. Here are three. The’re made from hard maple, African padauk and purple heart.

You nailed the pattern, perfect symmetry!

Curious as to what you used for the finger grooves, round profile router bit? What glue did you use?

It was done with a round nose bit as you say. I clamped the board vertically, using some boards as a guide for the router to move across. Because the board is radiused the groves taper off to an elliptical edge.

For the glue I used titebond 3.

Great job, I have done this design on my Long Board skateboards. A lot of fun you nailed it bro.
