This is one of my Mudflap girl push stick. I’ve made a bunch of these for novelty gifts. I was able to use up a bunch of scrap wood. I got the pattern here at Lumberjocks from Bigfoot products. The I found the original print out a bit small. I enlarged it to fit a sheet of paper the long way and that seemed good size. I also extended the base further back under the handle. It seems to look a little better. I’ve honestly never used her. She just hangs out on my peg board.

It’s great Bob. That’s a fancy handle.

Extra neat for this “dirty old man”club.

Very different for an expendable unit!

My push sticks do NOT have a great life expectancy.

Really good mate, but isn’t the handle in the wrong place????LOL

I saw one previously that never had a handle like yours and that one was used very often.

Looks great, Bob. She could hang out on my pegboard, anytime.

Bob, that’s a beautiful thing. I have a few push sticks but I like your idea to just let her hang around in the shop. Heck, maybe I’ll make two.

I’m sure you’ll like using her. I use mine every time I’m at my table saw. I hardly use my other push sticks.

When I made mine I made three sizes—1/4, 1/2 and 3/4” thick. I didn’t put the extra handle on mine cause it spoils the look.

Tyvek, I hadn’t seen yours before. If I had I would not have posted mine. I don’t like to copy things others have posted. That being said I still think I’ll just let her hang out on the pegboard.

Bob, I’m glad you did post yours. Copying things others do on this site is what it’s all about. Sharing good ideas so others can enjoy them is great. I first saw the one STEVE made and it looked so cool that I had to make one too.

If you decide to make some to use and not just hand on your pegboard, I would suggest you stick 1/4”, 1/2” and 3/4” stock together and make a set of 3 all at one time.

I wouldn’t use her as an actual push stick, but she could hang out on my wall.

Stellar job on the mudflap push stick, BurlyBob….She’s quite a looker, that one. I’ll be very proud to own one. I don’t have a pegboard for her to hang on, but she’ll look good laying on my…...saw…!!!
