CCWoodcrafts – by Rudy Reyes – My daughter Kathryn moved back to San Antonio and asked if I could build her a kitchen island cart. At first I had no idea what a kitchen island cart was or even looked like. She drew out a sketch of what she wanted. She said she had looked around for one but none had the features she was looking for … so hence could I build her one. I had never tackled a job like this, I normally build whirlibirds and step stools, or jewelry boxes. But I went ahead and did the best I could. The cart is made out of pine and is stained with a cabaret stain and has 3 coats of poly.

While not perfect it’s functional.
