Here the main aim was to make the classic trestle table design a bit less rustic. We added some curves and other details that gave it more ‘modern’ appearance. The table is 100% solid wood. Made of cherry and maple. Finished in oil.

Very nice. I like this design very much. What kind of chairs are you going to use?

We were commisioned to do only the table. But you are right that designing a proper set of chairs for this particular table would have been challenging.

Is it euro cherry and maple. I was wondering because the cherry is really light colored. My cherry from VA,USA is really red with just an oil finish. Beautiful design. Check out my cherry projects and see what i mean. Thanks

Nice shape to a already classic table, the woods in it natural colors look very modern and clean.

Beautiful Table! Trestle Tables are my Favourite Type. I’m also an Advocate of “Elegance In Simplicity Of Design”.
You’ve certainly accomplished that!

I Love the way you’ve carried the Centre Core of Maple into the Cherry End Pieces. Ties it all together nicely.

GOOD STUFF!!
