This is a coffee table I built for my wife a while back. She enjoys crocheting and needed somewhere to store everything, so I built this with 4.5” deep storage and cut grooves on 3 sides for the yarn to pull through (and so our cats and dogs would quit taking off with it while she worked!). All of the lumber is used/repurposed. Pallet wood on top, old shelves I dig out of the trash for the sides and the 3”x4” legs are oak from an old barn that was demolished locally. It was a fun little project and my first woodworking project. I learned a lot.

Very nice looking, especially for a first project! Keep it up.
