Headphone Stand. Tassie Oak (the light wood), and Blackwood (the dark bit, acacia melanoxlyn). Beyerdynamic DT-250s. Not super high end, but comfy enough and produce a nice sound.

Blonde shellac polished on. A nice little project that let me use some of my lesser used tools – a shinto rasp and macfarlane bowsander. Also was a very good excuse to make my own dowels wit ha router jig.

Mostly I didn’t want the cable to abruptly stop/bend at a weird angle. I’ve seen one set of headphones suffer from that in the past ( wife headphones) with a non replacable cable!
