My mother-in-law mentioned that she wanted a simple small table for her back porch, so I built her one.
It took about 6 hours start to finish. The entire thing is Red Oak and the legs are commercially made balusters I picked up at a home improvement store for a few cents each and cut to length.
The color is Minwax Early American and the finish is three coats of Minwax oil finish lightly scuffed with 0000-steal wool between coats. It is about 13 inches square and 22 inches tall. I used biscuit joints to assemble the frame and drilled the under side of the top to receive the dowelled ends of the leg tops. The edges of the tabletop received a rounded over.
Thanks for looking.
