I picked this blank from WC the other day. I really liked the grain pattern. I just finished with Danish Oil. Still going to put some wipe on poly and wax.

Fantastic bowl. Like the design and the wood is great. Great turning.

Keep it up.

Topamax:
First I miss typed. The wood is Jobillo (Ho be yo) from Central America has a light reddish brown heartwood streaked with sharply constasting dark reddish to black band that resemble burn marks. This wood is hard and heavy but turns well and will take a fine polish. It’s a member of the cashew family produces stunning turned pieces because of contrasting nature of its stripes. This is what I founf when I looked it up on the web.
