These 2 benches are similar to other benches I have built in the past and posted here. Made of Pine, love the pine.
Used Pocket holes throughout. Kreg makes a great pocket hole tool! All that I am lacking is the finish which I will get done this weekend.

These are beautiful. I really like the detailing on the bottom. Nicely done!

Well done! love making benches. Very nice style.
Kreg joints beat the hell out of dowelling in lots of cases.

Love those back slats. Did you make them with a dado blade or on a router table? I really like the whole look of this project.

SCOTSMAN, thank you, I used #2 pine from HD, have to go thru a lot of stock to find the PERFECT piece…
BRADFORD, thank you, I used a router to cut the back slats, took a while but worth the look.
I really recommend using the Kreg jig, eliminates alot of drying / clamping time….
