These wooden puzzles always interested me. Found this pattern on a website and made it out of some bass wood scraps i had around. The joints arn’t as clean as i would like but I’m happy with it for a first attempt.

These are fun, and make great gifts. When I made a bunch for the grand kids, I made a jig to help control the cuts.http://lumberjocks.com/projects/11213Keep up the good work, and thanks for posting.

i got the plans from this website http://www.craftsmanspace.com/free-projects/andromeda-puzzle-plan.html . I’d love to make more of different varieties. A jig sounds good i’ll have to try that. Thanks

I am midway through this project at the moment. I found my way to the same link doing a google search for puzzle ideas. Great job on it. I’m not far enough into it to make a call on how mine will turn out. I will say for anyone who stumbles on this, the website listed is great. There is a massive amount of detailed plans in PDF format that are organized well. I’ve been there a few times now looking for ideas.
