Finally went for it this weekend!!!!
I’ve had this pattern awhile and haven’t had the nerve to try it
I finally gave in and tried it. Now a whole new realm has opened up for me!
Band Sawn boxes!
I used walnut poplar and alder!
I haven’t flocked the drawers yet but will when the poly cures completely.
So here it is my first box!
OH and I made they jewelry thats in it too!

they are fairly easy and a lot of fun!
I did this one on a 9” Ryobi saw!
its only 3 1/2” x 6”

Very nice job on the box and the jewelry!
I love these boxes, David! They are so much fun to make and you are only constrained by your imagination!!

Nice work!!! Good color configuration. What size blade did you end up using? Did any of my tips help out?

I used a 3/16” blade on a 9” Ryobi band saw!
I was able to use a bigger blade since there were no real tight turns in this pattern!
Slow cutting but turned out good!
Yes the tips helped! I thought and studied a long time before attempting
this one! now a whole new world has opened up and i have tons of scraps
to create endless designs. next one will be my own design now that I know
how it all works!
