Again this project was carved in Black cottonwood bark.Finished with a wax finish and buffed.I love the aged and weathered look on this guy.He looks wise but not sure if he is much of a talker lol. Has sort of the loner type look. Hope you enjoy!!

Can’t decide if this is Zeus or Poseidon. But there is clearly years of wisdom in those eyes and much character in the face as a whole. Especially like the curly beard. Very nice.

Outstanding carving with lots of personality. I wish I could do this type of carving… I’ve always thought it would be cool to go deep into some woods and carve something like this on a random tree, for some unsuspecting explorer to happen upon. Nice work.
