beautiful work, I’ve made one hand plane in my life…out of oak…now lost in time to several moves and a divorce…truly excellent…an inspiration for my own efforts.

Really like the Purpleheart and Goncalo Alves (? Third plane from the right on the first picture). They are all great looking.

Douglas, The plane that you are talking about is not Goncalo Alves. However I can see how you would think that. It is however made from Wallnut. And thank you for the kind words.
