Did 150 lin feet of this crown right at Christmas , It’s a 5 1/4 inch Cherry crown , set on top of a 3 1/2 inch cherry base to give it a larger look , Customer loveed it , It was pre finished for me by my friends at Palmer Painting, Edgar can match stains , ,makes his own , Like nobody else , Matched the existing cabinets. I put up some blocks every other stud, and near corners on top of the starter piece ( the upside down base) , for additional nailing support , and used construction adhesive on those spots too. The challenge is always the ceilings , bows, and dips bumps and depressions , In a perfect world , an easy job .. ;-) spent two days up on a ladder it’s a 10 ’ ceiling Had several bullnose corners to do and of course none of them the same exact angles.

I have done something like this. However, it was not as nice as yours. But it was the same idea. Very lovely work sir.

Nicely done. Rare to see the darker crown moulding.
