”Standing around the Campfire”

Every once in awhile you have to do a whimsical project just for fun. I made this bowl for my daughter who likes stuff like this. I got the idea from a clay pot I saw pictures of with a similar design, but I added the “fire” theme to give the guys a reason for being down there. :)

Made from Oak & Maple and I used Anilene dye.

Now that’s really innovative and unique. Your daughter must love it. Beautifully done.
Really interesting method for getting all those little guys to match. Gold star for that!!!

Very interesting.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

Very clever turning. Years ago I saw a german turner make rings of various shapes. He then cut them up and had circus animals, carts, chrismas stuff. It was fascinating. t

Fire, pretty! That’s why the guys are down there. Cool project!
