Built this litle herb garden for my wife’s birthday. Its’ 12”x36”x8”. The outside of the box is 1.5” because that’s what I had, I think 1” thick would have looked better. I made 6 compartments for different herbs separated by 1/2 plywood. The legs are 1.5”x3”x30”. I finished the outside with spar vanish, and left the inside unfinished. I lined the bottom with aquarium rocks, then filled with potting soil and planted the herbs.

I happy with how it turned out, but I’m sure there are better desings out there. Anyone know of a more elegant looking herb garden plan ?

Nice planter.

It is very functional and if she likes it the rest is unimportant anyway!
