Made a few of these last year and the Wrens really liked em so I got jigged up to make some more.

I had trouble with other birds digging at the entrance holes and enlarging them to gain access. I solved that by putting 1” washers around the entrance. Problem solved!

I know your Wren house post is almost a year old but I just have to comment on your houses. I recently have been having an encounter with a little male Carolina Wren in my garage shop. He shows up almost every time I go to the garage to do anything. Just today I have been researching bird houses to build for the little guy and found your post. Here is a picture of the little guy taken with a cell phone.

and here is another where he was scurrying around and hopped right between my feet.

My little buddy is totally not afraid of me and often hops around on the floor close by. Cool little bird.
