Tool tote made from scraps of oak I had picked up, the sides are made from pieces about 11/4” wide glued up. I did buy the dowel for the handle.
I made the dividers removable in case I wanted to put longer stuff in it.
This was my first attempt at box joints. I had some chip out on the joints so I filled it with Titebond III, and it all but disappeared.
Approx. 12”w x 24”l x 15”h.
Finished with Minwax provincial stain and wipe on poly.
It’s actually quite a bit darker than the pictures show. I was trying to get the fumed A&C color, its actually pretty close.
You may notice the quality of my pictures has improved a lot. I followed somebody’s tip here on LJ’s and copied their photo setup. I’m sorry I don’t know who it was or I would give them credit.
The last 2 pictures show the setup. I still need to put diffusers on the lights.
I’m just using an inexpensive Kodak digital but I think with a setup like this the pictures turn out pretty good.

great little tote you have done
and your setup for taking photos is nearly perfect
if you got your difused light you will bee realy close
you can do that by turning your light 180 degree
and use too white boards of plywood/flamigo/other things
placed around 2 foot from the lamp to redirect the light back
and if you place the things you want to take pictures of
a little longer away from the background so you don´t get
the hard shadows you can also play a little with the distance with
one of the lamps so you will only see one shadow but then will
I recoment you read a book on how to do this kind of things
after all it´s a woodworking site and not a photo competition :—)
then it will bee right in the closet

Nice made one as well for a project I was assigned. Our’s have alot of the same design features.
