I helped a friend of mine build this work bench for his 10×20 workshop. The bench is 18in wide and 72in long. Space was a necessity so only usable 18in top was good. Made of vertical grain Douglas Fir with a store bought top called rubber wood I know is best as Ramen. The vise was recondition from a bid on Ebay.

Here is the latest picture of the little bench wit drawers an a self. I’ve included pictures of the small shop.

Very nice to help a friend. Looks like there is room for draws and a shelf also. Nice work.

That is a nice look bench. I agree with mat60 about the drawers and lower shelf. You just never have enough storage space in a shop.

Looks like it’s lagged to the wall for stability, good job for a solid bench.

This is a nice workbench. It looks like it fits that spot perfectly and you have plenty of daylight.
