Hello fellow LJs. I’ve been busy working on repeat orders that have been posted here already. That’s why the long hiatus from LJ. for those of you who have instagram accounts, you can follow updates on my works and travels at @benjireyes. Hope to see you there.

Sharing with you a new chair. I designed and named this chair after my son Carlo.
The back splat follows the principle of the bow and has a bit of give when you rest on it.

Woods used:

Legs: yakal
seat and arm rest: ipil
back splats: balayong
crest rail: molave
inlays: kamagong (ebony)

All woods are reclaimed as with all my projects.

Thanks for viewing and have a great weekend!

That sound you hear is my mind being blown, yet again, by one Benji Reyes.
The following silence is me, speechless.

Wow! I love this chair. It’s a real eye catcher and displays a lot of lovely details and craftsmanship.
Well done!
