Hi all,

My first project ever is this mirror frame I made for a family member. If you have any advise I would like to hear it. I know I messed up on the glue not wiping it away and it messed up the stain.

Thanks, look forward to hearing comments.

A Big Hello to you Paulucho, Welcome to LJ’s A great bunch from all over the world hangs out here. I would say the same, sand it down removing the finish and the over glue and I think you will like it much better. Is that a lap joint you used? Pretty nice.

Thanks both of you. Yes it is a lap joint Larry and it was a lot of work. I have decided to sand it again all the way down to get a better product.

Was able to sand it off and I am very happy the way it came out. Thanks!

Good choice on the wood too! Plenty of interesting grain and I think your stain choice is a nice touch.

Have your say...
