made of blood wood and maple, finished with friction polish. bowl is about 4’’ high and has a 7’’ diam.

Well done! Certainly not just another bowl. The design caught my eye. Sides look thin enough to be scary for me..

Did you use software to design it? Have you done other segmented bowls with a solid bottom like this? If so have wood expansion been a problem?

Did you use software to design it? Have you done other segmented bowls with a solid bottom like this? If so have wood expansion been a problem?

I don’t use software I just figure it on paper and some drawings.no problems with any wood movement.

This is a beautiful bowl and I love the contrasting colors of the wood and the pattern used and it’s so nicely done.
