Ironing Cabinet

This is a cabinet that was completed in March 2010. It is to be used as a craft table, but the customer wanted to add a ironing board to it. I found an ironing board kit at Rockler. I mounted it to where when it opens it pops up to be level with the cabinet top. Really a nice design. The directions could have been better. I ended up having to study it and make some adjustments to make it work.

On side I put deep drawers and the other I had a door unit. I built a simple upper cabinet, that is shown just sitting on the cabinet in the pictures. I never got any pictures after the installation.

Very cool but it requires a lot of free space to the sides.

VERY cool !!!

I’m pretty sure that Stiletto Knives are illegal in most urban areas, though.

Nicely done. If we ever ironed anything …... ;-)
