White Oak, walnut oil and beeswax finish. I made some 1/16” veneer to cover the end grain.

Only 8 bottles? Guess ya better stockit with Bourbon on Scotch to make it worthwhile! Great job, reminds me supposed to make a wine rack for Ma! (won’t be quite so fancy as it’s going to be in the garage)

Excellent design! You can put it in many positions on the wall or on some surface. I’m nut sure why you had to cover end grain with veneer, I prefer more natural rustic look with imperfections – but this way also look great.
