very nice work! what was the method used to apply the veneer?

Very interesting. I do a lot with red cedar but this is new to me. Nice touch with the edn grain.

Thanks everyone. I made the 1/8” thick veneer from half of a cedar log that I squared up. I glued and clamped the cedar down, a side at a time, around a box and then cut it into on the bandsaw.
