Hello all, after a long time away from lumbejocks and working on improving my woodworking skills here is my latest project. I used yellow pine stained and waxed. Thanks for looking.

Nice table, really neat what you can do with 2×4
Love the drawer placement, the camera angle makes it appear to be resting on the cross braces

Hi Jim,

It’s mostly due to camera flash and my rather unusual technique. Right after applying stain i rubbed with cloth to try to lighten color and then immediately proceeded to apply wax in generous amounts to cover lines in between boards. Pic was taken a few minutes after process of applying stain/wax mixture and camera flash gave it a more glossy look than what actually is.
