This door handle is for a large main entrance door that i am working on. Door is ready but has not been installed yet, that is why i have not post it yet. The door handle is 1.5 inch by 24 inches, made out of tigerwood (Astronium sp). The iron pieces are made from reclaimed stainless steel (i paid $US1 at a local junkyard for an 8 inches long bar). Threads were made at a local machine shop. Finished with 6 coats of tung oil applied over a period of 10 days. Last sandpaper used was 600 grit. Once again is a pleasure to work with wood

If that is the handle, I can’t wait to see the door.

Nice job.
