A New Handle for a Not Very Old Saw

I picked up this Disston saw for a dollar. The original handle was comfortable enough but really ugly so I replaced it. The handle is from a Moses Eadon tenon saw. The plan came from tgiag. The handle is probably cherry. Came from a dumpster.

Nicely done sir. Now you have a great looking saw. The cone nuts are an interesting feature too.

That is an outstanding saw handle and will make that saw a real valuable asset for your shop.

That’s a great improvement for the saw!

And yes it’s nice to see another Saskatchewan woodworker on here. You are lucky to be in Saskatoon. It would be great to have a Lee Valley so close. We really have nothing here in Regina.
